Parenting PlansThrough mediation, the parties will discuss how they want to parent their children.  The mediator can assist with a compromised parenting plan and/or parenting schedule.

A mediator will work with parents who are unable to resolve day to day matters affecting the care or support of their children.

A parenting plan is to enable both parents to continue to be involved with the children's activities including school, sports, and other interests.

The agreement should also include which parent will have residency of the children and a plan for parenting time with the other parent.

Parties may also want to include how major decisions will be made with respect to the children's education, health care, and religious upbringing.
